Yes, you can! The recycling service is currently available exclusively for deliveries within Attica and is provided free of charge.
You can find this option available for the following device categories: Refrigerators, Air Conditioners, Dehumidifiers, TVs, Washing Machines, Dishwashers, Cookers & Ovens, Electric Water Heaters, Cooktop Hobs, Clothes Dryers, Washer-Dryers, Range Hoods, Vacuum Cleaners, Microwave Ovens, and Air Fryers.
How does recycling work?
Buy a new product from any of the eligible categories listed above.
During checkout, the "Recycling" option will appear in your cart if the service is available for your address.
If selected, the carrier will contact you by phone to schedule the delivery of your new appliance and the pickup of your old one.
When will my old appliance be collected?
Simultaneous Pickup: If you select recycling along with any additional installation and/or uninstallation service for Washing Machines, Dishwashers, Refrigerators, or Cookers & Ovens, the pickup of your old appliance will occur simultaneously with the delivery of your new device via Svuum.
Separate Scheduled Pickup: In all other cases, pickup will take place at a later date, where the courier company Diakinisis will contact you by phone to schedule a separate pickup appointment:
If you choose recycling alongside installation/uninstallation for any other recyclable category not listed above.
If you select only recycling, without adding any installation or uninstallation services.
Pickup Requirements
Before collection, your old appliance must be:
Disconnected from power and/or water supplies.
Clean and completely empty of any contents.
Important: The recycling service operates on a like-for-like basis. For example:
If you buy a washing machine, you can recycle your old washing machine.
If you buy a small appliance (e.g., an air fryer), you cannot request the collection of a large appliance (e.g., a refrigerator).
Important Notes
Diakinisis is responsible for the collection and handling of the recycled device, not Electrocycle S.A.
The old appliance must be ready for removal (disconnected, clean, empty).
Pickup is strictly conducted from an accessible location. If access is restricted (e.g., narrow stairwells, need for crane hoists), the pickup cannot be completed.
