Below you will find useful information regarding the necessary documents for the KYC (Know Your Customer) identification process, as well as instructions on how to update your details if needed.
Age Requirement: Registration and participation in the Service are permitted exclusively for natural persons who are registered Users and are at least 18 years of age.
Verification Documents
Are Law Enforcement / Armed Forces IDs accepted?
Regarding Security Forces and Armed Forces IDs, only Police IDs that meet PRADO standards according to Bank of Greece Executive Committee Act (ECA) 172/29.5.2020 are accepted. If you hold a Security Forces ID other than a Police ID, you must complete digital identification using a valid Passport.
Are European National IDs accepted?
European IDs (excluding Greek National IDs) cannot be processed through the automated digital verification system. You will need to submit your ID and a selfie either via email to ekyc@everypay.gr or by uploading them to the "Other Documents" section under Face Identification & Document Uploads.
What proof of employment document should I upload?
Employed: Submit an Employer Attestation signed and stamped by your employer, a recent pay stub from the last quarter, an attestation from your competent social security body, or an Employer Certificate issued via ERGANI on Gov.gr.
Business Owner / Self-Employed: Submit Business Registry Details or Tax Office (DOY) documents from the last quarter, a Social Security Clearance Certificate, or your E3 tax form.
Unemployed: Submit an Unemployment Certificate issued within the last quarter via the "Unemployment Period Attestation" service on Gov.gr (www.gov.gr).
Pensioner: Submit a Pension Statement or your latest Tax Assessment Notice (ekkatharistiko).
Student: Submit a color photo of both sides of your Student ID (paso) or a School/University Certificate issued within the last quarter.
Dependent Member (No tax return filed): If you are a dependent member and were not required to file a tax declaration for the tax year 2023, submit a Solemn Declaration (Ypefthyni Dilosi) stating your non-obligation to file a tax return for 2023 (certified via KEP or Gov.gr), along with a Tax Identification Number (AFM) Issuance Attestation from your local tax office.
Where should I upload my residence permit?
You must upload your residence permit under the "Other Documents" section during the Face Identification & Document Upload stage.
What format should my uploaded documents be in?
Your valid ID/Passport must be uploaded as a color photograph (both sides for IDs) showing all four corners clearly with all text completely legible.
You can complete this process directly on your mobile device by taking a live photo of your document placed on a flat surface.
Not Accepted: Scanned documents, black-and-white photos, photocopies, or driver's licenses.
Requirement: IDs must contain Latin characters.
What email entry format is acceptable?
The email address must be entered strictly in lowercase characters (no capital letters) without mixing Greek and Latin alphabets.
OTP (One Time Password) Questions
What is an OTP?
An OTP is a 6-digit One Time Password used to secure transactions and verify your identity.
Why am I not receiving an OTP?
Check the time settings on your device and set your clock to the Greek time zone (UTC+2 / Eastern European Time).
How long are OTPs valid?
OTPs remain valid for 5 minutes. You must wait 1 minute before requesting a new OTP.
Are screenshots accepted?
You may upload screen captures from a computer monitor, provided that the date and time are clearly visible.
Updating Personal Information
I changed my IBAN: You can update your IBAN directly from your Skoop Account Settings.
I changed my email: You can update your email address directly from your Skroutz Account Settings.
I need to change my Tax ID (AFM): Please contact support providing your old AFM, new AFM, and email address. Once we update your record, you will be required to re-complete the KYC verification process.
