How to receive a Gift receipt for Skroutz Orders

When an order is marked as a gift during checkout, there is the option to send a gift return card either electronically or in printed form.

Gift receipt as a gift purchaser 

If you placed an order as a gift, and it has already been delivered, you will be able to send a gift receipt to the recipient, in case they want to change or replace the product.

From your "Orders" page in your Skroutz account, you will find the option to “View gift receipt”.

All you have to do is enter the recipient’s email address and click on the “Send receipt” button. Once the recipient receives it, they will be able to continue the process from within their own Skroutz account.

 

Alternatively, you can select “Print card” to generate a printed version of the gift return card. You can then include it inside the gift.

The gift recipient should scan the QR code printed on the gift return card in order to be redirected directly to the return page and proceed with the exchange process.

Gift receipt as a gift recipient 

You will first need to ask the sender to send you the gift return card, either electronically or in printed form, through their account.

If you receive the gift return card electronically via email, you will need to sign in to your Skroutz account and locate the order. There you will see the option "Did you face a problem?".

If you receive the gift return card in printed form, you should scan the QR code printed on the card and follow the same process.

Then, you will need to fill in the gift exchange form with the necessary details.

Returning a gift is a similar process to the common return request, except for the fact that the gift recipient cannot get a refund. By exchanging your gift, you cannot have the gift order amount credited back to your bank account. If you wish to get the gift order amount credited back, instead of receiving a different product, you can request a Skroutz giftcard.
